Day 1 – Goroka – Asaro Mudmen
Pickup from Goroka and transfer to the Asaro Mudmen Tribal Eco Lodge.
Your first day introduces you to the traditions of the famous Asaro people.

- Mud mask making and explanation
- Village and garden walk
- Traditional houses and village life
- Cultural performances
- Photography sessions with the Mudmen
Dinner and overnight at the Asaro Mudmen Tribal Eco Lodge.

Day 2 – Gurupoka & Gimesave Tribes
After breakfast, experience the Gurupoka Ghost Walk, a short walk into the surrounding hills where local guides share traditional stories, legends and beliefs connected to the area.
Continue to Gimesave, where several distinctive cultural groups will perform.

Spend the afternoon photographing and interacting with the different groups.
Dinner and overnight in the Asaro/Gimesave area.

Day 3 – Village Life & Final Cultural Experiences – Goroka
After breakfast, enjoy a more relaxed morning focused on everyday village life.
Possible activities include:
- Visit village gardens
- Traditional food preparation
- Local handicrafts and mask making
- Meeting village families
- Additional portrait and cultural photography
- Final traditional performance
After lunch, transfer back to Goroka.
